Using CounterNest

CounterNest provides website visitor counters, traffic reports and periodic uptime and reputation monitoring. Use the service only when you are legally able to agree to these terms and are authorized to manage the websites concerned. Questions can be sent to support@counternest.com.

Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information and verify your email. Keep your password, recovery codes and private management links confidential. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. Two-factor authentication is optional and recommended, particularly for privileged accounts.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to attack networks, test private/internal destinations, evade access restrictions, collect sensitive information without authorization, misrepresent traffic, distribute malicious code or overwhelm shared resources. Do not attempt to access another user's reports or management functions without permission.

You remain responsible for your website, its content, your visitors' privacy notices and any consent required for analytics. Do not put secrets or sensitive personal information in page addresses, titles or tracking fields.

Reports and alerts

Traffic measurements depend on browser behavior, connectivity and script execution. Counts may be affected by blocking, multiple devices and automated traffic. Uptime checks are periodic and may miss interruptions between checks. Notifications depend on delivery providers and configuration. Reputation checks reflect supported known-threat listings; a result without warnings is not a security certification or guarantee that a website is safe.

Availability and limits

The service operates with resource limits and may be interrupted for maintenance, provider failures or operational reasons. Limits and available features may change. No specific uptime or notification-delivery guarantee is offered unless separately agreed in writing. Keep independent backups and do not rely on CounterNest as your only safety-critical monitoring system.

Content and service administration

You retain rights to content you supply and authorize its processing as needed to provide the service. The operator may suspend abusive activity, restrict access, or remove accounts and associated service data where necessary to protect the service or comply with law. You can request account closure through support. Public reports should not be treated as private storage.

Responsibility and legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or complete accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, obligations or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. The effect of any limitation depends on the law applicable to you and the operator.

Updates and contact

Changes will be published on this page. Contact support@counternest.com with service or account questions. Applicable law determines your rights and the courts or authorities available to you.
